Crystal’s journey with our charity began at just 15 years old as one of our young participants. Her passion, creativity, and leadership qualities quickly shone through, and she soon became a dedicated volunteer. Over the years, Crystal has facilitated art classes and enrichment programs, consistently inspiring and engaging other young people through her empathy, creativity, and strong communication skills.
Now a young trustee and Co-Youth Officer, Crystal plays an active role in shaping our youth strategy, bringing a valuable lived experience and authentic voice to our decision-making. She is a confident public speaker, an effective team player, and a natural leader with the ability to connect with young people from diverse backgrounds. Her organisational skills, emotional intelligence, and commitment to inclusion make her a powerful advocate for youth-led change.
We are incredibly proud that Crystal is now studying for a law degree with the ambition to become a lawyer — a goal that reflects her passion for justice, equity, and making a difference. Her growth from participant to leader is a testament to the impact of our work and her own remarkable determination.
